Director

Alejandra serves as Chief of Staff for Archipelago Strategies Group (ASG), a full-service marketing and communications agency based in Boston, which was founded in 2013 with the vision of “marketing with purpose.” At ASG, she oversees business development, client relations, and project implementation. She also provides strategic direction to a diverse client portfolio on public relations, policy, and community engagement.  

Before joining ASG, Alejandra served as the Director for Immigrant Advancement for the City of Boston, where she headed a municipal office committed to strengthening the ability of immigrants and Boston’s diverse cultural and linguistic communities to fully participate in the economic, civic, social, and cultural life of the city. Previously, Alejandra served as Executive Director of ¿Oíste?, a statewide civic engagement and political organization for Latinos. 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Black Studies from Wesleyan University and a Master of Education from the City College of New York. She lives in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, with her wife, son, and two rescue dogs.
