Melanie Winklosky
Director
Melanie Winklosky is the Chief Advancement Officer at Boston Plan for Excellence, an education non-profit. She joined BPE in 2012 and leads BPE's work in public and private fundraising and communications. She serves as Clerk of BPE’s Board of Directors and is a member of the senior leadership team.
Melanie has been working in public education for 30 years and has raised more than $100 million to support students, educators, and programs. Before joining BPE, she served as Vice President of Development and Operations at Mass Insight Education, and spent 13 years at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Melanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Vincent College and a Masters in Human Development from Boston College. She is the proud mother of two children, and writes fiction in her spare time.
